Noise grind bomb out in 1992. Agathocles, Anal Cunt, Meatshits, 7 Minutes Of Nausea and End Of Silence team up together to bring you a noise cluster bomb. 1000 copies on the first pressing, 500 black and 500 green vinyl, with big booklet inside. Second press, 100 copies circa as we had some spare cover left, with white labels, black vinyl and probably no booklet.

 4  DISRUPT     “Smash Divisions”   7"

One of SOA classic, Boston' Disrupt crank out a brilliant live set of 13 tracks and a cover that made history in crust punk. The band disbanded soon after their european tour, including a ferocious Rome gig that some still remind as a crucial set, here. band members went in Gref, State Of Fear, Consume and so on.

Fist pressing of 1200 copies went out in hard plastic bag, yellow/black labels and 100 copies in red vinyl. Following copies had soft plastic bag, different colored vinyls and white/blue labels.

 5  MAN IS THE BASTARD     “Abundance of Guns”   7"

In early 90's, contacts were slow as hell, especially overseas. When I wrote to Neanderthal that had a 7" on the magnificent and inspiring Slap'a Ham label, the band already disbanded. Then when we decided to do a 7", the band had already a couple out or soon to be out. This recording is the fast eclectic hardcore era of the band, that then went distorted noise oriented.

Fist pressing of 1200 copies went out in hard plastic bag, white/blue labels and 100 copies in red vinyl. Following copies had soft plastic bag and different colored vinyls.

 13  GEROGERIGEGEGE     “Yellow Thrash Bazooka”   7"

Possibly one of the funniest things ever. an 80 songs 7'' thats barely 10 minutes long and with the song titles all running through the letter "G" in alphabetic order. we start with "G" and end with "gynecologist" with many different interpretations of the "get ___ ." following a countoff, a blast of sound ensues, usually lasting about 5 or 6 seconds. juntaro's count offs start getting rather long winded by the middle of the second side and it just gets funnier and funnier. one can hear the sound of a drum machine somewhere in the mix as well. the cover art contains the same format as the 'endless humiliation' cd, substituting a picture of an old man masturbating. this is a gero 7'' worth tracking down.

 29  V/A     “Pasta Power Violence”   7"

4 bands out of the back then new italian scene of the mid mid 90's. Fast hc-thrash-grind onslaught brought from Obtrude, Nagant 1895, Cripple Bastards and almighty Society Of Jesus. One of the very first step of italian fast era. Recycled paper sheet and layout stolen from italian b-movies. A couple of covers went out in black & white only.

 32  TEN YARD FIGHT     “Demo 1995”   7

S.O.A. were supposed to release a 7" by Trees Without Leaves, a nice band from US that had a demo and some songs on Ebullition samplers. The band then disbanded then we approached some side band of a couple of members, this being TYF. Probablye one of the classic youth crew band of the 90's, here at their debut, to be followed by their classic 7" on Equal Vision. Some info about the covers, due to popula demand of ferocious collectors;

From the realm of chaos of the sad hinterland of Rome, came this band of old scenesters that did some very nice Doom/Disrupt core with some killer grindy drum parts. The 7" on S.O.A. went out due to out long friendship, unfortunately with a bad recording that never gave the right glory to the band. This is the first cover of our fave artist Mozza for S.O.A. by the way. Out around 1998.

 53  COMRADES / CRIPPLE BASTARDS     “Split”   7"

You probably have never seen the original split Wretched / Indigesti, one of the very first italian diy production... Well, in the era of silly/fake/fashion punk hardcore, two well and less well known bands out of Italy cover the split ep in every aspects; Cripple do the Wretched side as they were Wretched themselvel, while roman Comrades follow disrup the Indigesti part with a grindy vibe. The layout is quite the same as the original. Declaration of war to punk written by the Cripple's, while more depressive no future thoughts follow the Comrades. Out in 2000. 

Cripple tracks appear on the 3xCD Old Days Nostalgia while Comrades' are featured on the anthology CD.

Groovy death-grind from the vaults, originally out on cd format only in 1994, then printed on lp in 2001 and kidnapped by Italian authority until now. An overdose of bestial no-future grind including a classic Fear Of God cover, tru’ 13 tracks brilliantly produced by Don Fury. Band included members of All Out War, Winter, Citizen’s Arrest, Assuck, Power of Expression and so on.

REVIEW BY CRUCIAL BLAST RECORDS

The first album from then-NYC based scumblasters Taste Of Fear has been out of print for years, having come out on cd in 1994 and then being included on the likewise long-gone discography disc that Throne put out earlier this decade. Back in 2001, the Italian label SOA Records put things in motion to re-release the album as a limited edition vinyl release, but somewhere along the line things went awry and the records were confiscated by the "Italian financial police", or so the blurb on the back of the jacket goes. It wasn't until just this year that SOA was able to extricate the records from the authorities and finally release this thing - all very mysterious and clandestine sounding, though I have no idea what the polizia could possibly have been doing with five hundred black slabs of powerviolent deathmetal brutality. Apparently had something to do with the pressing plant, the details are sketchy. Anyways, the vinyl reissue is finally here eight years on, and it's never looked or sounded better. Featuring all new (and much improved) artwork that gives this record a very black metal look and boasting a remastering job that makes these thirteen tracks sound more bestial than ever, Taste Of Fear's album is still as vicious and punishing as ever. Featuring members of the cult New York hardcore band Citizens Arrest, Taste Of Fear took form in the early 90's as a much heavier and more metallic project that took a lot of its influence from the compact violent eruptions of Infest as well as old school death metal and black metal. These guys were aligned with the extreme hardcore/grindcore underground during the 1990's, but there was a seriously blackened streak that ran through their music that set Taste Of Fear apart from most other bands that they associated with, and while the album is pretty firmly rooted in a template of straightforward deathcrust, massive breakdowns and blasts of hyperspeed metallic powerviolence that never really lets up, it's still one of the more interesting hybrids that came out of the 90's crust/grind scene. Imagine the pissed-off barking blastcore of Infest combined with a brutal black/death assault that's equal parts frenzied Beherit blackness and Dis-core pummel and putrid doomy deathmetal, but delivered in short, stripped-down songs that ooze anger with the anti-authoritarian stance of the lyrics, lyrics that totally betray the band's roots in hardcore punk. So killer! There's also a cover of "World Under My Fingernails" from grind/noise legends Fear Of God, and the band also rips off a sample of Nurse With Wound for the intro to one of their songs, which is something you'll probably never find on another death/crust album...

One of the very first job for frejazz grin combo Total Fucking Destruction, known for having some Butal Truth buddie inside. And very first effort for teutonic noise command Bloodred Bacteria, that at this time got even Jan of Agathocles fame in the line up. This means this slab of vinyl is about fast thrash grind. Probably 500 copies out in 2001, rapidly sold out. Inner sleeve is handmade silkscreened.

Brilliant fast grindy thrash ultracore from the vaults. Essential and must to have discography for every speed freaks!

"This CD is a fitting tribute to a band whose hyper speed and unbridled energy marked them as one of the most extreme of the extreme. The ULCER discography is not as large as one might expect from a band whose stature in the underground was as high as theirs. The disc contains their LP on BOVINE, their splits with FAILURE FACE and CAPITALIST CASUALTIES and their self titled 7". As a bonus their last show is included as one track. This set includes an ASPIRIN FEAST cover which makes it an instant classic in my book! You haven't lived until you have feasted on aspirin my friends. If you are not familiar with ULCER now is the time to get your act together. In many ways their sound reminds me of HELLNATION: It is almost always blazing, the vocals are screeched, the noise factor is high, and the energy displayed makes the splitting of the atom look like mere childGs play. The earlier material, like the self titled 7" and the FAILURE FACE split, is more grinding while the later stuff, especially the LP which is pure thrash. Power Violence is a perfect genre tag although the band probably wouldn't agree. But hey, they broke up without seeking my approval so screw it! Needless to say this is a must have for hardcore freaks. "

Warfare?, started in 1981, had some Crass times mixed with a punker sound, obviously with political/social lyrics; their recordings consists on their split ep, cassette recordings from studio and live. Singer from Warfare? as well as drummer for Upset Noise are both in the new Eu’s Arse… the ring is complete…

One of our favorite bands from the good old days; the italian discharge Eu’s Arse! Fast and furious disbeat hc-punk, fuelled with anger and political lyrics, Eu’s Arse put out some very good tunes on their 7” and split with Impact, here again revived with the addiction of a live tracks from a 2004 set. Yes, the band still rocks now!
